Complete Trust Between the Vantagepoint and Vantagepoint Client Applications

You must complete some final steps to set up trust between the Vantagepoint application and the Vantagepoint client application.

To complete setting up trust between the Vantagepoint application and client:
  1. From the navigation tree on the upper left, select your domain name.
  2. From the Manage menu, select App registrations.
  3. On the App Registrations screen, select the Deltek Vantagepoint (Client) application.
  4. From the Manage menu, select API permissions.
  5. On the API Permissions screen, click + Add a permission.
  6. On the Request API permissions dialog box, select APIs my organization uses from the choices at the top of the screen.
  7. Use the search field to search for and select Deltek Vantagepoint.
  8. Under What type of permissions does your application require?, select Delegated permissions.
  9. In the Select permissions section, select (enable) user_impersonation (Access Deltek Vantagepoint).
  10. Click Add permissions.
    The new permission displays under the list of API permissions.
  11. From the Manage menu, select API permissions.
  12. On the API Permissions screen, click Grant admin consent for your domain next to the Add a permission link to make it available for end-users.
  13. To grant consent for the requested permissions, click Yes.
  14. Complete the Microsoft Entra ID configuration steps in Vantagepoint.
